Day 01 :
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley – Merzouga
- 08:00 AM: Depart from Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m). Enjoy scenic stops for photos.
- 11:00 AM: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Walk through the ancient earthen city and see filming locations for Game of Thrones and Gladiator.
- 01:00 PM: Lunch in Ouarzazate (the "Gateway to the Sahara").
- 03:00 PM: Drive through the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" and the Skoura Palm Grove. Pass the Valley of Roses.
- 05:00 PM: Stop at the Boumalne Dades Gorge for a walk and sunset photos.
- 07:00 PM: Continue towards the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga.
- 08:30 PM: Arrive at the edge of the dunes. Mount your camels for a 1-hour trek into the desert to watch the sunset.
- Overnight: Enjoy traditional dinner, drumming, and a night in a Luxury Desert Camp (tents with private bathrooms) or standard bivouac under the stars.
Day 02 :
Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt
- 06:00 AM: Wake up early to watch the spectacular sunrise over the dunes.
- 07:30 AM: Breakfast at the camp, then camel ride back to the village.
- 09:00 AM: Visit the nomad camps nearby or see how locals extract fossils in Erfoud.
- 11:00 AM: Drive through the Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views of the massive palm groves (one of the largest in Morocco).
- 02:00 PM: Lunch in the town of Midelt.
- 04:00 PM: Drive into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see the wild Barbary Macaques (monkeys) in their natural habitat.
- 07:00 PM: Arrive in Azrou or Ifrane.
- Overnight: Check into a comfortable hotel/Riad in Azrou or Ifrane.
Day 03 :
Azrou – Ifrane – Volubilis – Fes
- 09:00 AM: Breakfast. Visit Ifrane, known as "Little Switzerland" for its alpine architecture and clean streets.
- 11:00 AM: Drive to the Imperial City of Meknes (short panoramic view of the walls) or head directly to Volubilis.
- 11:30 AM: Guided Tour of Volubilis: Explore the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, featuring stunning mosaics and an arch of triumph.
- 01:30 PM: Lunch near the ruins.
- 03:00 PM: Drive to Fes.
- 04:30 PM: Arrive in Fes. Drop-off at your hotel/Riad inside the Medina (walls).
